IRS announces 2010 decrease in the Business Standard Mileage Rates

New Look for Local Union 47
[8/12/2009] - Thanks to Dave Chiotti member of Local Union 47 and instructor of the JATC, our union office building has our FIRST SIGN since the formation of Plumbers and Steamfitters Monaca Office in 1968.  Dave's accomplishment is an impressive piece of art.  (It even lights up at night!!!)  His skill of a certified welder and dedication acknowledges that Local Union 47 has produced some of the finest in our trade.  Thanks again Dave, for a job well done. link

March 1, 2008 the following increase in Local Union 47 Death Benefit Fund will take effect:
[1/18/2008] - At the regular membership meeting of February 20, 2008 the final reading and vote on the proposed increase in the Local's Death Benefit Fund was approved.  Therefore March 1, 2008 the death assessment will increase to $5.00 per building trades journeyman or apprentice. more
